About Me
My wife, my kids and I moved to Sudbury on March 31, 1997 - a day before the April Fool's Snow Storm of 1997 - from a balmy 68oF on March 31st to 26 inches of snow on April 1st! We went with it and we continue to love the seasons as they unfold in Sudbury.
My son and daughter went to Sudbury Public Schools and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School. Both are contributing members of society and have their own families. They are who they are because of the strong educational and wellness foundation of Sudbury's schools and the nurturing environment of town of Sudbury.
I have a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago. I taught full-time at Boston College and Merrimack College, and part-time at Northeastern University. I now work in the industry.
As a computer scientist, a former professor, and a software engineer I study issues thoroughly, consult widely, and develop methodical solutions. I explain issues so they can be clearly understood. As a long-time public official, I understand the vital need to collaborate and deliver services to the public.
My wife has a Master's in Computer Science from University of Illinois at Chicago and she managed the software department at a company.
I love Sudbury.
In my spare time, I grow vegetables in my garden and go for walks in Frost Farm and Davis Farm in Sudbury, enjoying the preserved and cherished spaces.
