Radha Gargeya for Select Board: Let's Build a Thriving and Inclusive Sudbury
Hello Sudbury:
I’m excited to share the launch of my campaign website, RadhaForSudbury.com, as I seek a seat on the Select Board. My site provides insight into my vision for Sudbury, my experience serving our town (Sudbury 250, Lincoln-Sudbury School Committee, Housing Authority, Walkway Committee), my volunteer work, and my thoughts shared at L-S graduations and opening days.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing my vision for Sudbury—why I’m running and what motivates me to serve this incredible town we all love.
We all want to see Sudbury thrive—sustainably, responsibly, and in a way that serves every resident. Our town shapes our children’s education and values. It’s where we gather, play, and enjoy our beautiful open spaces, all while ensuring safety and financial stability for the future. I encourage you to visit my site to learn more about my approach to these vital issues.
I humbly ask for your support and your vote in the upcoming Annual Town Election on Monday, March 31.
Public service, for me, is deeply personal and rooted in the American story.
My late parents dedicated their lives to their communities and students. They had the courage to shelter and uplift a marginalized student full of promise—defying societal norms to do what was right.
America’s story is also my guiding light. I draw inspiration from our country’s foundational words—the ideals of the Declaration of Independence, the wisdom of Washington’s farewell address, the quiet courage of Thoreau’s Civil Disobedience, the solemn call in Lincoln’s Second Inaugural, and the unshakable demand for justice in Martin Luther King Jr.’s Letter from Birmingham Jail.
Their words—and my parents’ example—continue to inspire me, challenge me, and call me to serve. I hope to do my part, however small, to make a difference for Sudbury.
I look forward to the conversations ahead. Thank you for your support!
Best regards,
Radha Gargeya
